Mr. Ortiz is an Assistant Project Manager at Savanna, where he supports the management of large-scale development projects through design, construction, and closeout. His responsibilities include overseeing design coordination, utility management, field operations, VDC model integration, and schedule tracking to ensure projects are delivered with precision, quality, and efficiency. He works closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to maintain alignment across design and construction teams, performing quality inspections and coordinating with lender and insurance representatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Prior to joining Savanna, Mr. Ortiz worked with CORE Construction and Verdex Construction on multifamily and commercial projects valued up to $100 million, gaining comprehensive experience in procurement strategy, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout. Before beginning his construction career, Mr. Ortiz served in the U.S. Army for four years, specializing in transportation and logistics. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Everglades University.
